I am not sure whether the piece of carbon fiber will do the same job as a beefy alloy brace (made by Kawahara, SATO, etc)

Any inputs are welcome
I was running my last Mugen on the 4mm chasis and I was only using the standard right side brace, despite trashing the car a lot the brace was never deformed at all, so I guess there was no advantage to use an allow or graphite one. I suspect that there is no real need for the alloy or graphite braces.

One of the guys used the graphite bumper, it did not last long at all.

I don't undedrstand the Japanese, why not just rate the springs according to pounds/kilos ... thats a lot easier to use as referrence rather than colour coding with less coils etc. Thanks a lot ND!

B: I still use the stock plastic brace for my mtx-3. I also have the kawahara one that I got for free, but I like my car to have OEM parts.

mugen created the car with off-set wheels in mind so that 26~30mm foams could be fitted without excessive track width

Actually there is a point of diminishing/no return with everything. Methanol actually provides the quick burn and hence the power for the combustion in our motors. More methanol equals more power. However nitro is very useful as when it is introduced into the mixture it actually causes more methanol to burn for the same given air volume. It is basically like a supercharger, but a chemical one.

There will be a point where more Nitro (which does not burn as well in our motors as methanol) is too much and it no longer is having any useful effect. Where this point is only experienced guys (not me!) can tell you. I have heard of guys running 40%, but I really dont know if the extra difficulty in tuning (since the operating compression ratio changes much more dramatically with more nitro introduced) will pay off.

A few years ago I found the nitro limit of the gsr11... I ran that sucker on 40... man she flew... for about half a tank... might have been the lack of oil... or how lean she was.... but damn it was fun...

Anyone remember the spider mk 2.... now that was a real touring car... none of these fancy gadgets like todays plastic fantastics...
