RD logics universals are weaker than Mugen's. Stick with Mugen originals. Just make sure to check the length of the universals. The shorter ones goes to the front. Do you know if the universals are of different length? If so which ones are the fronts and which are the rears?
Go ahead and try to use the longer ones in front. You'll see that at 199mm it's binding and if you try to set your front to 198mm it's impossible. Mugen will correct this. i also run the longer cvd's in the front with no binding problems

same here. no binding what so ever.

All I know is the shafts for the universals are two different lengths. One is 54mm and the other is 51mm. Currently the ones measuring 54mm is packaged as front. This doesn't work for me and especially if you put the oring on. The next time you take your front end apart go ahead and measure the universal shaft. If you say you're using the oring I would think you have the 51mm installed. Either that or your front width is more than 199mm.
