Do the wheel nuts screw in completely with the spacers? I just installed some spacers (about 0.8 mm thick) but I noticed that the nylon insert in the nut does not screw in completely. I am afraid the wheels will loosen up and fall off the car during racing.

Thanks

I am confused, the original stock tires (rear) have how much offset??
does the front stock tires have offset as well?

Now, how do i solve my problem? Will getting the kawahara alloy wheel hex with the 1mm spacers help (is the 1mm shim enough..?)

All i know is, with + offset, the tires will be pushed further out...so from my guess, the original mtx-3 stock rear tires have negative offset??

and why doesnt any of the foam tires put the amount of offset on their packages, is it because they are all the same? ( i do now know the offset of my speedmind tires, because it is not on the package box)

i know these are a lot of questions, but i am kinda stuck here, thx for any inputs
The tires that came with the kit are 2mm offset.
I have tried the Speedminds 0mm offset and they work fine and am running without any spacers.
Alternatively you may want to add in the 1mm spacers.

ok
i gues my question comes down to this

Can the mtx-3 use all kinds of offset tires in the rear? (as in can all FIT)

and...

what kind of offset tires are offered by GRP (Ellegi, Power Tyres in particular)

and....

the shims are to be used to adjust the offset right? (e.g, use 0mm offset tires, put one 1mm shim --> 1 offset)?

thanks

So far to my knowledge.. all the GRP tyres fit fine.
I have tried Jacos, Speedminds and GRPs.. all work fine.
All are 0mm offsets.
If you like the tyres that came with the kit, you can try Mugen's Fast tyres. they are 2mm offset..
Otherwise yes you can run those 0mm tyres with the 1mm spacers.
