The stock dogbones are a little short allowing the bones to fall out when steering is fully cranked. It seems that with the "A" ackerman part, it fully extends the inside wheel when turning.

I solved this by using a length of fuel tubing(a spring would do too) inside the diff outdrive to keep the other end inside the drive cup. Reducing the steering throw and tightening the servo saver also prevents them from falling out.

Default alloy engine brace

Can someone post the part number and vendor for the engine brace? Actually just the vendor will do. Is it a Kawahara hop up?
Thanks,
Kevin

kfactory makes clutch bell gears up to 23 tooth

i know what hes talking about that track over here in ohio is huge and the mtx2 (which has the same overall internal ratio) was under geared for it

the trinity team had a 23 tooth and they were fine mugen only had a 22 and they were getting killed on the straight thats why mugen did so poorly at nats and worlds

i didnt have even a 22 to run it was horrible i would reach my top speed only 1/3 of the way down the straight

i hope that they even make a 24 tooth in case i go back to that track it was huge

the cheapest and easiest solution IMO is the mtx2 dogbones paint them or polish them so you can find them if they ever come out but i am almost positve they will never break

on my car i have put the bones from a mtx2 universal onto the outer portion of a mtx3 universal i broke

right now there are only 3 brands release this option.

1/. kawahara, the best design which works with any rear bulk head cross member

2/. 3racing, the worst one which required its own rear bulkhead cross member and sway bar set and there is some slop on the joint.

3/. Charge, another japanese option house. it also works on any cross member but it doesnt work on blade, you adjust the distance of the ball/cap to adjust sway stiffness.

I'll bring some Harden Pinions from Team Charge as Racing Jack has been so slow producing the goodies I need.

Team Charge's Harden Pinions: 15T, 16T, 17T and 19T, 20T, 21T.
Still doubt about the quality on K-Factory's pinion as I've seen one and it looks funny. The coating was cracked and looks like a "paint crack", too.

mugen pinions for MTX3 last much longer then MTX2 pinions. i will go for MTX3 pinion instead.

kfactory is not on my list. GPM is there because just want to show comparison !!

Corse-R is right, those factory moded engines are already on the limit...improper tuning of these engines will get you into trouble...
my friend blew up his Rody 5 Port with only less than 2 months old..!!!
