Wow. I was running my MTX-3 today and the MT-12 ate up both my 1st and 2nd gear. Has this happened to anyone?

Hi Guys

Can you recommend a good pipe for the OS TG .12 slide card? 11380 is the part number. The tracks are mainly tight and technical not too many big straights, I have an EFRA 2501 at the moment but I think it might be better to run that on large open tracks with bigger straights.

Thanks in advance.

Adrian

20Smoke :

My MTX3 qualified to A9.

DNF to #8th position due to depleted receiver battery at minute 35 out of 45.

It's very hard to drive mtx3 against newer car generations.

( next time I go back using mtx4 or nt1 to make my sponsor proud )

you can put the 3 up in contention, i haven't raced mine in 2 1/2 years and i'm only a 1/2 sec of the fast guys with the mr 12 that comes with the original kit, but if you have to run something else to make the sponsors happy, you got to

JP pipes are the best pipes for the OS TG.

Hi Guys

What gearing do you recommend for a smaller track with only two small straights, it is a very twisty track so I'm thinking more excelleration would be needed. There is a movie link to the track here http://www.wynnumrc.com/

Would really appreciate any help here as I have no idea about Nitro gearing. I managed to find a ratio/rollout sheet so even if you give me a rollout I should be able to work it out.

Cheers

Well I am looking at starting this upcoming season with a new to me MTX3 that I picked up off one of the local seasoned racers. I think I should be fine as I have installed my NovaRossi engine and have a new RDLogics pipe on it's way, I am not having the best of luck with receiver packs though and am wondering if there is any advise I can get from all of you out there. I managed to find some 900mah AAA to build my own packs but am unsure if this will be good for the long races as I have seen that now they are going as high as 1600 and more.

i don't have a chart to give the exact number but run small pinion's and big spur this will give great acceleration,i think 13/54 1st 17/60 not 100%
