On the attachment, you will find the results of being boned by a team mate on the virgin run of my Xray Evo 2. At least let me to run 4 full laps at interesting pace.

Broken A-arm, shock parts, rear shock tower, bent the shock rod, bent the universal and other things that I've discovered at house due to the faulty handling.
that hurts !!

Nah....I'm sure he simply had a few spares lying around...considering he never use to run his Xray anyway!!!!

I don't think so. Front and rear internal gearing is 2.52. So using same frotn and rear diameter foams will give you an overdrive of 1.

I believe the V1RR lola version comes with an overdrive pulley. Instead of the stock 27T side pulley, a 25T is also given. i was told optional belts are also supplied for the use of the 25T. I believe when you run with the "overdrive" 25T pulley, you need to run a split of approx 5 mm (front smaller than rear) in order to give you back a 1:1 overdrive.

Checked it at 'eyeball' and seems to run 1:1 not overdriven nor underdriven. But calculations can made, anyone can post the number of teeths of the different pulleys? (rear diff - pulley, rear center - front center, front pulley - oneway?).

My testing day is ruined by a damn fog and a 96% of rel humidity.... if this continues.... need an MTX3 dose.... need an MTX3 dose...

Actually the V1RR even with the 27T side pulley has a very small front overdrive. I think it is around 0.5 or 0.9%. You will find most of the belt cars have this "feature" to make the car slightly easier to drive. This is another reason why the NTC3 seems so free compared to the belt drivers.

AMGRacer, can I know how you arrived at such overdrive figures of the V1RR with 27T side pulley?

Front drive ratio = 32T / 18T x 27T / 19T = 2.5263

Rear drive ratio = 48T / 19T = 2.5263

Both front and rear drive ratio is exactly the same. Assuming both front and rear tires are equal in diameter (which they are if you buy them stock), how does that make 0.5 to 0.9% overdrive?

Manticore, I do not see anything wrong with my post here. Can you stop your personal attacks? I know my Serpent very fine thank you. If you do not have anything nice or useful information to post, I suggest you should refrain from posting. That is all I ask.

The forum is free and I think I can choose to post anywhere so long as it is a valid question and give valid answers. I'm learning too and if what I posted was wrong, I would like to know and I do not mind to be corrected. Thanks.
