You have to look how tall your tires are. If you cut your tires down to 60mm or so; you should have no problems

Just need some advise. Does the MTX4 front CVD can be used in the MTX3? What other parts that MTX4 can also be replace in the MTX3, ie, front & rear arms?

So has anyone got the worlds winning setup yet? Seems Mugen has forgotten it won the worlds, no updates on their websites yet!

Default setups

mtx 4 newbie here.

I'm trying to setup the car and had a few questions. First off, when setting front droop do i set both arms using the set screw or do the right one first then turn the little nob on the left arm untill both arms are 2mm or equal?

Second, i'm running low on the 600wt oil and was wondering what are the Losi/trinity/Team assciated equivalents? As i have a gang of bottles ranging from 30wt to 60wt oil.

thanks in advance.

it is much stiffer and plus it has air duct underneath for engine cooling

I heard a rumor that there are 2 types of fuel tanks available for the mtx4; suppossedly the ealier models came with a smaller tank. I'm having trouble making 5 min. Ive changed the gearing to as high as my engine could handle, but still had problems (58/18 and 52/24) I basically have to run a perfect race to make the laps and times. I'm running a N12LL3 which I've had for a year.

youve geared it the wrong way and their for using more fuel cause its working the engine more geting more top end speed try the 60t first and 24t second should rev its tits out but less strain and time to do so also you could put a longer fuel line for when your sitting on the start line waiting for the race to start

Hi

Setting the droop you should first remove the roll bar and set the droop the same left and right, then reconnect the roll bar and make sure the droop is still the same as you set it earlier. If it is different use the cam on the left arm to make it the same. It is important to set this right or the car will not handle as good as it can.

I would not advise using other brands of oil, reason being they are all different weights. Losi 60 is not the same as Mugen 600, try to stick with Mugen oil as it's very consistant from bottle to bottle, and then you can just copy from a set up sheet and know it's the same.

It's the other way around. A 77cc tank came out first. Lots of racers started getting disqualified by tech at big races. They then altered the tank to a legal 75. I have a 77cc and use an AE gas tank insert thats screwed to the floor of the tank. If you havent alread, you may want to try and lighten up the car and figure out how to free up the drive-train more. Efficiency=longer run time.

How many gallons do you have through your LL3? Check your LSN, it may be a tad rich.
