Yes, you can use metalic brake pads but I don't think it will fit ( I guess they are too thick so keep it original or buy the yellow pads ).
My turn to ask question : anyone have problem mounting the brake disc from mtx3 prospec into mtx4 ?
I have discover 2 problems : 1. the brake disc actually hit the bottom of the upper plate ( I had to dremel the plate to remove some material ). 2. The brake disc touch the carburator

Hey, what that brown file Rasps thing that everybody uses to file their foam tires after using the tire truer call? I'm trying to find one. By the way, I just finished running the Texas Biggie and did not have any problems in Tech with the MTX-4 fuel tank. But I did have more rear tire wear than the front tires. I'm running about 2 split and by the time I'm finished, the rear tires are smaller than the front. What would cause that? I'm running 30,000 oil in the rear so I think I should go back to 10,000.

For 30+ minutes races I usually run more than 2 mm split. Something like 3.5. And actually the car feels pretty good at the start that way.

I use a caliper to measure the width settings to get the left and right equal.

1)Chasis ez flex : they already noticed and sorry coz they cant see in during design drawing, other than the option 4mm LCG chasis, they wil try to get the 3mm better material or such like that.
2)Clutch bearing damages : well we have to take the +&- or pro&cons about it coz smaller bearing rotates faster, you will have to maintain it and regular swap for heats and finals.Anyway, they will see if they can find better material for it.You can also try the rubber seal bearing.
3)Rear swaybar error: as he said, really cant see during the drawing stage but Japs drivers got no complaints about its touching the 2nd gear housing especially when you are tuning the car on the staterbox or holding it.But during the car is on the ground,it should be any problem,I did mentioned it is not good for good quality image..sales talk..
4)Tank capacity: I showed mine in M'sia we measured it is 77cc,i end up putting like tank insert and shorter line and manage to get it 74.5cc.He knows about tank problem but they solved it already and he will check again the matter. We took my car and he himself do the checking but end up 73cc.He said maybe our checking gadgets not accurate and ask me to take out the insert as in some Regulation,no insert or anythg else should be inside the tank. And i loose fuel timing too..
5)2nd gear housing bearing : they are improving that part as they bumps into it also, the bearing keeps coming out.

2)ok
3)just needs better quality control since some cars have clearance between the bar and the 2nd gear hounsing and some not.......
4)NO WAY AT ALL.......our measuring instrument is extremely accurate and ALL mtx-4's weren't approved while every 1/10 200mm car from other brands were easily approved
5)ok

just to add a comment about rules.......
you can use the insert inside the tank as long as it fixed...........loose inserts aren't allowed and the reason is obvious........
