Anybody try 30,000 or 50,000 diff oil? which is works better?

You don't have to run a shim at the bottom of the shock, but I would. If you use one then get a shim that is 1-1.5mm thick. I do run a 4mm shock tower, but mine is only 2.5mm thick at the bottom where it bolts on. This keeps the body mounts and shock angle the same as using a stock tower.
I have run 10k, 30k and 50k shock oil. What the other people have said about the shock oil differences is true. As a general rule of thumb, the more traction, the heavier diff oil.

Have here a 50k oil bottle.. but seeing how performed with 30k oil on diff I don't think I'll need it on the future unless I find some extreme track conditions that warrant the use of such thick diff oil - probably I'll go solid rear.

Thanks all!
I got the mugen option shock tower. I will try it this weekend.
The reason for wanting changing the shock oil for 10k is that the car is pushing. I have rear end traction now so i was thinking that changing the oil would help with the turn in.
Any other suggestions?

30k diff oil or 50k diff oil ? ask A class drivers who play together in your circuit.... 30k is mostly use for medium to wide open track while 50k is more suitable for technical track.

I just milled the rear of the shock tower down 1.5mm where it mounts to the rear cross-over block and that also moved the body mount forward. This kept the strength of the unit and leaves everything in stock locations.
Simple fix.

Are you guys using a total of 3 5x8 bearings with the MTX-4 clutch bell? I was looking at the manual and it shows 2 5x8 bearing being installed on the inside and 1 5x8 going on the outside.

Rear Diff
What rear diff oil is best when using a one-way?
The track has a sweeper on to the straight but has a fairly tight corner at the end of the straight (which is still high speed) then another straight after. Also has a tight hairpin in the infield. The traction is ok but the track is quite rough.
Will a tighter diff give me more traction or will a looser diff.
Please explain.
Also what shock setup would you recomend for a bumpy track?

Thick shock oil for smooth tracks and thinner oil for bumpy tracks.
