hold the car and rev the motor, you should feel or hear the gear shift. If you don't hear the car shift then most likey you need to loosing the adjustment screw. Or have someone standing between you and the end of the stright way and the person can hear your car shifting .

When I hold the car and rev it I can definately feel it kick in (gives a violent shake) and can hear the sound of the engine change.

Just fart around with the adustment and you'll find the shift point.

Im going to try something different, since ive got the carbon upper deck, im not going to use the receiver holder but have it sitting on the top tray. I hate the V-one R style holder, or i might use a trinity receiver box.

Squizzy, any chance you could modify the top plate to make it fit?

I certainly could, but so could you if you have a dremel.

Get the K-Factory radio box and open it up, use the bottom half as a template and mark it out with pencil using the original outer mounting hole again. I had some photos posted earlier of the finished product. Biggest thing to watch is that you dont foul the belt or the front bulkhead so do the operation with the car assembled or at the very least with the plate sitting on the posts.. But the answer is yes I can certainly do it if you so require!

Anyone heard from SP Racer? He asked me about 2 weeks ago to pit for him at the winterchamps and I havent heard from him since!....and they start tommorow:eek
