Spacers could have that effect if the droop is too restricted, try backing off the droop screws and see what happens

i never liked the standard shocks on the S so i upgraded them to V-one R shocks. Alot better quality, aluminum build, threaded body so adjustmens are more acurate and they dont leak.
springs set the ride height of the car so the more compressed it is the heigher it is, the less pressure or compression it has the lower it is.

What id say the problem is, is that your droop screws are limiting the downtravel of the suspension arm, which in turn, limits the shock movement, check that they havnt been screwed in too far, and if so, try using a droop gauge.

It isnt the screws I have them in default position.
Can someone give me an explanation how it should work(adjusting the ride height by changing collars).

basicly adding shock collars should raise the car because it makes the suspension have less travel so the suspension lifts the car higher.
are you trying to go lower or higher?
hope this helps

1) Is the shock mounted in the correct hole?(upper or lower)
2)do you have the right size lower shock ends fitted? (there are long and short)
3) have you tried it with no spacers? if so what effect did it have?
4) have you tried removing the droop screws alltogether (1mm of adjustment at the screw end = about 10mm an the hub.
Go back to basics! every one buggers up something, be it large or small when assembling a kit.
Do you have a digital camera? if so take a photo of the shocks as they are assembled on the car and either post it here or email me at [email protected] and I shall endeavour to help!

For example
16/48 = 64
20/44 = 64
17/49 = 66
21/45 = 66
If you dont follow this rule your going to be stripping gears left right and centre!
From memory your 2-speed instructions should have the gear ratios.
