So many opinions, but unfortunately none of them is even close. (:

Itīs all about getting the roll center into an aerea it should be for an onroad car.

Does not really lift the center of gravity as 80 to 90 % of the weight is directly mounted on the chassis, and will even go lower by reducing the ride height.

Donīt speculate, buy one and drive it. Youīll be supprised about the performance.

Only two words from the CATīs mouth: Mi Au, or in your language Me Ow.

Default Serpent cobra 2.0 upgrades

What is the stock gearing on the 2.0 and what gearing should I get for a open large track?

Also what is the new +5 diff raiser for?

Also can I upgrade for the 3.0 laydown shocks and not upgrade the suspensiom holders?

Stock gearing on 2.0 is 16/49 19/45 which should be fine in the most part. I will goto 17/20 on large tracks with long straight.

The diff raiser changes the roll centre of the car to make it closer to what an onroad car should be rather than a buggy.

You can but I would upgrade the whole front end as it makes a big difference. Serpent do a full 2.0 to 3.0 suspension update kit which is well worth the investment p/n: 600717

Stock 1st gear pinion is actually a 15 tooth. Also the 17/20 combo wont properly mesh without changing the 2nd spur to a 46 and it will make the 1st gear way too steep. Will take a massive amount of torque to pull that ratio and will bog badly out of the corners. On a bigger track step up to 15/48 and 19/44. If you still need more (which I doubt) you can go up to the 16/50 and 20/46 combo. These will keep proper gear mesh and give the gains you're looking for. There's no need to go even as big as the 16/50 20/46 combo as Paolo was running stock gearing with a 1 tooth drop on his second gear spur on one of the largest tracks on the planet (Homestead) and was lapping the field and hitting 60mph.

Good answer: Thatīs what it was designed for !

Does work best when you use all parts including the diff raisers.

Then it will race and handle as a real onroad car should do.

Trust me, it will create the biggest smile ever seen on your face.
Please make sure you have a friend arround to take a picture.

What other parts are needed when running the diff spacers?

Just the 3mm rear sway bar to match Paolo setup...nothing else. Actually you do not need to have the 3mm if the 2.7mm are good enough.

Does anyone know that there is a FRONT DIFF SPACERS KITS for the GT too..? I've got that installed and planning to test the setup. But I think I will test the rear "ON" only before testing both "ON"...otherwise I would not know the different. Parts # 600710.

Also, you just need the 600710 parts...you do NOT need to buy the 600711 600712 and 600715 parts like I did....I made the mistake and bought all of those and now I have the spare parts that I will never need.

So no need for longer dog bones on the CVD's or shorter rear center drive shaft?

I assume these will also work on the 3.0 since Paolo was using them?

Yes these are really designed for the 3.0 with all the new suspension parts. It all works so well together as a package. I haven't got the front diff raiser yet and have been running just the rear one. It makes a huge difference as does all the other 3.0 changes.
