Glad you are using the car in a different application. Will be cool to see some pics..

Thanks
Here is some pics now that it was back together and run last weekend. Just added some shims and the new version mount worked perfect.

Here also is the video of the A main, I was on the pole

Default Engines and pipe

What engine and pipe do you guys use on your GT? What seems to be the most popular choice? My club has an open rules regarding engine, as long as it is .21 size (not limited to 5 ports 7mm insert rules yet).

Hi! It mostly depends on the engine you run. With a Nova based engine or OS engine the 41032 header and 9886 pipe work very good. If you run a Picco the 2046 pipe seems to be the best pipe and it comes with a short round header.

Harder springs and probably use the 2+2 shoes. Go to Facebook and check out Atsushi Hara and he did that on his RTR Cobra GT last year with that same setup but I think he used Mugen springs and clutch shoes.

Does anyone tried the FRONT roll center diff case kits for the 3.0? I know Paolo used the rear one, but they just released the front raiser kit....don't know what that will do.

Also, I just realized that the 3.0, the center drive shaft are now using dog bone (back to the early version of the Cobra 811) instead of the CVD type....why the changes? Easy removal of the 2-speed?

I guess because of the f/r diff spacers

That RAISED the diff in height....not the length.

I think the XLI gear box is thinner, thus need longer drive shaft front and rear....

The spacers dramatically raise the roll center of the car. Cant for the life of me figure out why anyone would want to do that to an onroad car but Paolo Morganti has used the rear spacer so it MUST be a positive modification for certain tracks.

The spacer is rising the centre of gravity not roll centre, hence the roll arm increase so more roll.

Not the length, the raise of diff box will alter the incline angle of centre shaft, I guess this the reason it comes with shaft instead of CVD.

The XLI gearbox mount is narrow than 2.0, but the length of 2 speed shaft is longer
