The Kyosho clutch works quite well and I almost never need to adjust it.

I run 1mm on the adjustment nut and .6mm end play. The 4D clutch spring is a lot better than the old 3D clutch spring that used to come on thier clutches.

i was wondering if anyone can explain how u tell the difference btw spring rate. for example front springs (2.5x1.7 or 3.5x1.7). i dont really get the concept of this. i dont kno wat the number are for.

The 2.5 is the number of (full) coils in the spring.
The 1.7 is the diameter of the wire used to make the spring.
Given that more coils equals a softer spring (all other things being equal), the 2.5x1.7 spring will be harder than the 3.5x1.7 one.
