1 ) how often you guys lub the one-way bearing ? From the 1st spur gear one-way and the front one-way..... and what kind of oil you recommemder.... currently, i'm using Trinity normal oil bearing to do the job, is it ok to do so ?

2) does anyone using this gearing match : 16/23T pinion, 60/55T spur?
understand that the second gear is the top speed ration.

cheers

i usually find using serpent one way lube works for me as its verry thin.
only when they get too grimmey do i cleen and lube them, but guys tell me that i should just leave them and change them when they go.
i think that prevention is better than the cure though
hope that helps you
cheers

Recommend one-way oil....serpent sells a good one way oil
the gearing that your showing....I have used it...but it depends on the size of the track...I used on a rather large layout

Agree with the above, Serpent 1-way oil is the ONLY oil I'll ever put in a 1-way.

Hi all... I have recently bought a rrr 2nd hand. The car is going well however i find on our track that it doesnt grip really well. It tends to slide out going around corners a fair bit. I would have to say our track is fairly low grip as it is set up in a carparking lot. Im just woundering what set up advice you could give me. I also run a front one way , and i also use grippy tyres all round. 26 35 front & 30 35 rear.

Cheers
Ray

does your car start the race with grip then thegrip falls ?
if so maybe try a harder tyre like a 37shore, the 35s could be warmingup too quick

set the car back to factory setting unless you know what the previous owner has it set to and work from there.

try a lighter oil in the rear diff like 10000wt or even 7000wt.

softer springs and also work with roll centres

when does the car slide out ? on or off power ?
