I used the black spring from the kits and the black shoe recommended with the aluminum bell. I use my flyweights with no set screw and drill the non pin hole out with 4mm drill bit.

Based on the spring I noticed in Paulie B's clutch. He had the same black spring I am using and he just got his kits. I think they are putting the spring I am using in the kits now. If you have the same spring as Paulie than we are all using the same spring.

I think the silver spring is the super hard spring. Measure it in length and thickness. It needs to be between 9.5 and 9.8 in length and 1.7 to 1.9 in thickness. I do know that my spring in not silver and at the Worlds I could not get the silver to work. After the Worlds and some testing I found out it was the spring that was the entire problem I was having with the clutch dusting.

wow

sounds good, im going to try the black one. because I am still having some dusting problems with mine and i'm using the silver spring.

I also noticed the silver spring does not spin freely in the cup or the nut.

Hey DJ
you can now enter a second class for GLC are you bringing your 1/8 car?

I got some white 2speed shoes in direct from Italy but either I ordered the wrong ones or they shipped wrong either way they are too small must be 1/10 if you want you can have them.

Just running sedan. 2 classes is too hard. I am coming with Kenny and he is running 1/8 scale and I am running sedan. I am not even bringing my 1/8 scale.
