My buddy is stationed in Japan and went and inquired about pricing and as it stands right now it will be right at 41K yen. So converted over should be about $500 stateside give or take.

I am hoping they come out in time here stateside. I dont go back to Japan until late July. I would like to be the first person racing at my track with one. I think it would hurt their feelings to see such a sexy beast in my hands.

Hey guys,

I have compared the new R4 manual with the RRR Evo2 manual and this is what I have come up with in terms of old parts that are the same on the new car.

The main parts that are the same are the belts, pinions, shock springs, front hubs, front universals and all the ball ends......

I would think the ball ends to be interchangeable - its not like they need to be redesigned or anything. Same with the springs unless they opt for different tensions.
Do you know for sure that you can use the front uni's from the RRR?

Well the part numbers are the same so they should be the same.

There is no option part for a spool........ I wonder what they will do? Hope the old one fits....

Also the Clutch, Brake pads, Brake Disk , Wheel hexes, and the turnbuckles are the same as the Shiimo
