silly price,e specially considering that top line tourers were about max $500 a few year ago. It's pure price gauging, and there isn't a need for it.

heads up. Proshop futaba has the new r4 listed at about $500 australian. Considering the conversion rate from Yen to Aus$ is low this is a good price. Not sure what is going on with US pricing but the price for this kit in Japan seems fair at the $500 range. With a better exchange rate the R4 would be about $500 australian landed.

the australian dollar is currently on parity with the US dollar so read the above figures as US figures if you wish.

Not sure how you worked out that price in $Aus. By the time you add shipping and the paypal charge, you looking at around $580 Aus.

they just want to see how many will buy it at first in that price.then the price will drop!
i think i can wait for a better price since a have a car right now.

i just rounded up the listed price on pro shop (it is listed as 42630 yen) and converted it on XE.com. Aussie to Yen conversion is quite low at the moment, if only it was back to parity as it was when i was racing
