Matt, That's the plan!! Only issue that may come up is that I'm scheduled for orthoscopic knee surgery on the 13th, but I expect to be fine for the RACE!

No problems here! The wind has kicked up a bit but nothing much falling from the skies, just some leaves...might be an early fall.

Default MIDWEST SERIES

I talked with Andy Powers today about pan cars running in the up coming Toledo Midwest Series race. If we can get 6 or more, we could run our own heat (sorry, no awards). Less then 6 and we might have to run with the GT guys. He was still thinking about it when I had to ran.

Joe (& Lon, Matt, Joe + other pan car guys),
Hey that sounds interesting to me too. Two race days instead of one and I can still run both Pan and 4WDM! It may be a lot easier to drive up before my knee op than a couple of days after.

Lon, What needs to be done to make it "official"?

Will the bodies be Lola style or GT for this class?

I knew I should have kept that old RC300BD!

What are you doing in here? lol The plan is to run the GT body if we have to run with the GT guys. Sports car bodies if we have our own heat. I really like the idea of running old 4wd open parts on my pan car such as tires, motors, bodies. Alot of that stuff is just laying around and having a car to put it on and burn up is just fine by me. If we don't make rules to prevent you from running old left over parts it will keep the class CHEAP!! Jeff Z and myself throw away alot of tires a week that would work great on a pan car for a whole weekend yet.

6 guys need to show up and sign up. Jeff Z., Lon Sr., and me are going to run forsure. We need three more and Ned if you are going to come up here you want to come up for the MWS race! Its the final race of the series and we have a pig roast and alot of fun! Should be 60 to 90 entries so you should have more time between heats to keep both cars going.
