Serpent 710
slop
when you guys installed the ball joints/links, did you install them so the larger hole in the link when over the ball firsr, or the smaller hole? my steering has a bit too much play in it for my taste. anyone else?
They go on large hole first.
julius, do you get the "rattle" in your wheels too?

The 5.8 mm ones must have either come from my 705 kit or the older 710 kit. I also have silver balls joints which are also 5.8mm ... don't know where they came from though.
Next rebuild ... slop will be gone!

SER-1647 Steel balls 5.8mm (4)
Comes with 710 kit for DRS arm ball joint.
Better fit but less efficien than the threaded one.
If still want to use the threaded ball joint, find the Kyosho(buggy) ball end or XR-303220 BALL JOINT 5.8 MM (4) bit more precise from stock 710.
Always make a double check on steering linkages from servo.

"rear diff loose" this could be most problem when your track is sugar watered and track should be high grip when there is enough sunshine.
Try tighten more until yuo cannot turn 45T pulley while holding R + L axle.
If still kicking, add some more rear camber 3.5 is maximum you can use with LB setting. But I bet your car will understeer after this..
Next, add some FR camber, 2 deg is max.
Good Luck

Can anyone help
Guy's I have a serpent 710 or course and im running it with a ns12S5 and I can't keep the car straight for two feet, this car is all over the place and totally undriveable. could the engine be to powerful for the car? or is there some type of an adjustment that can be made, please assist, I want to race it before the summers out but im afraid that I might kill a spectator.

About trackwidht, on normal condition 1mm narrower in front should be good and balance.
When traction rolling is an issue, narrow the rear end 1mm from the front. This is not always a good solution but I solve many traction roll issue with this adjustment.
