I am happy to hear we are all doing great with our cars !!!

Near Future upgrades:

3 racing pulleys
3 racing CVS
Bearing in Diff pulley

BTW, does anyone else have to HAMMER the pins in and out of the one way axle? I think I am going to drill mine larger, but what are the chances of damaging the one way bearing?

Sorry never tried. Maybe you want to be careful that the swarf doesn't go inside the bearing.

How do I lower my ride-height on a Serpent Impulse Pro?

I have the droop and the tweak set up but I cannot figure out the overall ride height. I am at 8-9 and would like to get down to 4-5 or 3-4

Profoxcg, I don't want to be obnoxious to 3-Racing products because I'm going to install a couple of things (SSG tower and titanium mid-shaft) when I redbuild my 710 but ...

... al. pulleys are tough on belts and the CVS (CVD?) is weak.

Its a snug fit but you shouldn't need to hammer them. Don't drill the holes to the point that they're loose, you'll accelerate wear on the Al. housing.

does your car have threaded shocks? is you loosen the rings this will bring you car lower, make sure you to this on a flat setup board to get good results.

Use the knurled spring stops on the shock bodies. Turn accordingly to lower the ride height.

If its still not low enough for you (3-4mm is way low) then you'll need to consider your tyre diameters.

Yeah, I had Monday off, too Pity the weather didn't really clear up, but I was happy enough with the way it was today.

Wed this week is no go, but maybe thursday - lets see

Just rebuilt the rear end of the car again - diff and bearings on the rear axel - followed Glenn's and Julius' instructions for the diff build - seems smoother now All the axel bearings have been lubed with the Serpent bearing oil
Tomorrow the middle shaft bearings and the front axel

Cheers, Mark.

I did actually, the first W doesn't mind but the second W is making the schedule tight but still possible if ...

I'm away that week in the US. I'll have to fly back, go home, pick-up the stuff and then fly to Holland.

Still checking if the flights will sync. Either way I'll let you know by Thursday 'cos that's the dealine for registration right?
