So in that way, it's more worth it. In any case, I don't know how much foam tires cost down under. Foam tires here are cheaper than rubber tires with wheel, insert and tire. Lower front roll center affects on power steering. |

When the shocks are mounted as indicated in the manual, they are already a little bit “forced” backwards (there is no play left). In case of any crash that bends the lower wishbone a little bit backwards, the shock can only pop-out, or break. As they normally do not pop-up, thy brake. Now, when installing them aligned (either by moving the tower forward, or by installing spacers the bottom), the shock will have a small amount of play that can accommodate mode bending in the lower wishbone. That play maybe enough to avoid them from breaking in low to medium speed frontal crashes. :confused: I installed 3mm spacers in the bottom, and they are now aligned. |

does serpent 710 have an optional universal drive shaft both for front and rear?

It`s true about the advantace of spacing... more play (which is the CURE).. and your statement is also correct, they break (less change of pop out) because of no movement. But you also forget, by spacing the front tower, it is now not sitted where it meant to be... in the bulkhead with more area to hold the tower;) Cutting the front one way holder (that hold the tower) is more logical to me in order to get them more align. Drawback would have been the same, if you cut too much, the front one way holder have less strenght. So how to get more play and still sit on the original place? Steering Problem
Hi Guys
I have just finished my kit and the front steering link rubs on my servo horn when the steering is fully locked to one side(can't remember which side :confused: Has anyone had this problem or did I do something wrong? |
