later man

From time to time. Not any time soon because Cali and Vegas racing seasons have started and I just prefer to run on those type of tracks with a lot more cars. Let me know how you like the front diff.

I would like to hear that answer as well.

But hey, if you can adjust the car to hell and back, why not? As they say, if you have it, might as well flaunt it !

Agree that the roll center thingy is one of the best tuning tool on the car.

I agree with adjusting the car from Hell and back and have done so many times, what I was refering to was spacing the shocks and adding a design change not an adjustment that was designed into the car.

Ummm, I've always debated this with myself. But you've already noticed by now that rubber tires overheat. Once they do that, you never get the same traction you get when they were new.

But even if foam tires were a little more expensive, at least you'll get more usage in terms of usable hours of driving from it. I mean you get constant traction from foams right through finish. So in that way, it's more worth it.

In any case, I don't know how much foam tires cost down under. Foam tires here are cheaper than rubber tires with wheel, insert and tire.

Lower front roll center affects on power steering.

InitialD: Thank you, i don't buy from Australia, they are a rip off. Cheaper in HK;)

I maybe wrong, but consider this…
When the shocks are mounted as indicated in the manual, they are already a little bit “forced” backwards (there is no play left). In case of any crash that bends the lower wishbone a little bit backwards, the shock can only pop-out, or break. As they normally do not pop-up, thy brake. Now, when installing them aligned (either by moving the tower forward, or by installing spacers the bottom), the shock will have a small amount of play that can accommodate mode bending in the lower wishbone. That play maybe enough to avoid them from breaking in low to medium speed frontal crashes.

I installed 3mm spacers in the bottom, and they are now aligned.

Apparently coming out soon. If I'm not mistaken, it's be somewhere in March or May.

...and the wheel do not rub??

It`s true about the advantace of spacing... more play (which is the CURE).. and your statement is also correct, they break (less change of pop out) because of no movement. But you also forget, by spacing the front tower, it is now not sitted where it meant to be... in the bulkhead with more area to hold the tower;) Cutting the front one way holder (that hold the tower) is more logical to me in order to get them more align. Drawback would have been the same, if you cut too much, the front one way holder have less strenght. So how to get more play and still sit on the original place? In my point of view, I already explained 3 times in this forum:lol:

PS: Straight looking shock is nice... but does it necessary?
