MR D,
Do you know which K&N filter fits to the SS 3 port? At rccarinternational there are several sizes and I'm not sure which one fits. Cheers, Mark. |

You basically have to buy the aluminum adapter if I'm not mistaken. Then the K&N filter goes in. I can't remember what adapter goes in a .12 engine. You can ask them via email. |
Originally posted by InitialD I remember Jan wanted to sell me the K&N filter. It looks nice but I think a normal sponge type will work fine. In fact cheaper too. Just getting my list of spares ready ;) Putting an order in for all upper and lower suspension arms  |

Plus, those parts you don't need immediately such as 2-speed clutch set etc will eventually come in handy when the older one wears out. Yet others such as the pinion set, what I do is have them installed with other sizes (16-21) and I keep the original 17-22 pinions as spares or ... see below. Above all else, if you happen to drive at a track where there are others with the 710, you'd most likely end up being the good samaritan who just happen to have that part he needs. |

Re: Re: Re: Re: Droop!
Originally posted by InitialD I don't get you... Increasing droop means for example +7 to +5 on the droop scale. Oh, yes, I also remember than rubber tires work better when front and rear sway bars are taken out. Set the car for as little camber change as possible and use lower roll centers to get more grip. The idea is to make the car roll more. |
