Originally posted by Profoxcg yep, I used to have some 3racing 1+mm offset hubs in the front. I only use the spacers when I use Speedmind tires and I do not use it when I use Ellegi tires. That way, I do not need to twist the pivot balls in and out to set the different trackwidths when I switch tires. Plus using the spacers with Speedmind rims, they do not rub the end of the plastic ball steering link. They do rub if the spacers are not used. Ellegis no problem rubbing. |

Are these included in all new kits or just for overseas? Thanks Al Where did you get your kit from? If you got it from your LHS, perhaps you could have gotten a slightly older batch kit. Did you get a black coloured flywheel? What about the rear shock tower? How thick is it? |

Originally posted by InitialD Al, no idea. I believe there is no distinction between local and overseas packaging. All should be the same. Where did you get your kit from? Check the colour of the flywheel...black = new |
TSO shocktowers and lower rear arms |

The Same Old |
Originally posted by Profoxcg Im confused The new kit he got apparently had The Same Old rear shock towers and the The Same Old rear bottom arms that have less plastic at the end to grab the pivot ball when screwed in... The newer rear shock towers are thicker and if you buy a replacement, you'll definitely get the newer thicker rear shock tower. As for the rear bottom arms, if you buy a spare part replacement at your LHS, they all are new and appear to have more plastics where they can have more surface area to grip the pivot ball threads. |
yeah ok so its bad hahaha
