Thumbs up Leaving Serpent

I sold my 710's and just wanted to say thanks to you guys for answering my questions and always being helpful. One thing I will miss is the quick and through responses.

I sold it due to it being alittle too fragile for me. The car is a rocket though, and all the sweet features made it that much better but I went back to my MTX3. Although I switched back I really have nothing bad to say about the 710.

I try to explain better; my question is : When I lift the rear, is it ok if the rear springs become ‘uncompressed’ before the wheels lift the surface? Seems that the preload is not enough to ‘push’ the suspension arms down until the stop (done by the downstop grub screw, I mean).

I get what you mean... You're either using to large tires or using too much droop ! When I'm at +6 droop, I find that the shocks cannot extend to where the droop screw intended the arm to extend.

What you could do is to lengthen the shocks a little if you need more droop. I find that it is not required on the 710 to have a lot of droop.

Kreidel

I am curious as I have just sold my R12 and bought a 710, My r12 was very fragile in that it never finished a race something always let go, This is the reason I bought the serpent, do you mean fridgaile in that when you hit a board something breaks or if you have a clean run the car was still not reliable I am very curious
Thanks
Picard

Ooo ... the LAST person I want to bring along is Mr. KHM. I'll be deaf by the time I arrive in Jakarta!

He's also Mr GQ though, he loves orange rims I think. I'm sure he'll go ....
