Serpent 710

not true.. i run a even faster throttle offroad, so I can control the truck in the air better..you will not upset the mixture by running a faster throttle servo.. you will only have problems if the motor is not in tune

Aparently, if I recall correctly, having the throttle reacting too quickly can lead to an upset in the mixture. The idea being that the mixture in the carb takes longer to re-settle, i.e. can't respond quickly enough to the new position of the throttle.
Not sure if there was a concensus of agreement on this one or not. Anyone else know about this?
Cheers, Mark.

I think the issue here is not getting the tensions out of the throttle linkage, so that the servo does not hum at neutral.

Hum noise occured when there is load in tension .........aka from throttle return spring, I don't use digitial servo, still using old school analogy and there is small little hum noise occured when it is in neutal cause my throttle return spring is actually pulling against the servo........but almost 5 years now, the servo is still work like new.

A little off topic now.........I've got the XRAY mail letter a while ago regarding their new NITRO car.......and from the website, it said it is nitro, but noted "HINT: it is not a touring car..."
What the heck will that be? Nitro TANK? I just hope it is not a TC, and I think it will be a 1/8th

you guys have it all wrong, it is a new lawn mower, with auto-run and even comes with the starter box. all new aluminum bulk heads and everything. adjustabe camber for making those turns on the tight lawns, threaded shocks for changing the ride height for different grass that hasnt been mowed in weeks. that damn Craftsman is kicking everyone's arse.
here is what I make it out to be like

Brakes
I do not understand it... I set-up my servos really nice. No hum from my KO2344 & 2343. On the throttle/brake servo I placed the servo horn at a slight angle, with the throttle side of the link slightly forward... The throttle is perfect, but the brake is my problem. I CAN'T GET IT TO RETURN!!! When I apply the brake, the linkage stays in the forward position.
WHAT DID I DO WRONG?
Oh yeah, I also bent the brake linkage so it does not hit the attenna....
