Heh guys, just got a used 710 and looks great. I know its yesterday's news, but got a great deal and I'm excited. Anyways, I'm going through the whole car, and I can't figure out how to set droop in the arms? I don't see any droop screws. I guess that's the problem when someone else built it.

The dropp screws are there, you are just not looking at the right place. You might want to get a copy of the set-up booklet which can help you locate the screw location.

Rear DS screws can be found on the rear arms. Front DS screws are located just under the upper mounting front shocks.

Hi guys,
2 cars, a couple of different problems. Any help will be appreciated:

1. car -->
- Centax engages too early. As soon as I hit the throttle, it engages. How to avoid this? Should I tighten the clutch spring? Do I have a too large or too small clutch gap?
- The brake disc sometimes hits the flywheel. I haven't installed the 0.5 mm shim between the front bearing of the engine and the conus. If I do install that, would it solve the problem? Or is it normal for the brake disc to touch the flywheel (sometimes) when in fast motion?

2. car --> Start the car, all is ok. Hit the gas, give full throttle, no problem. Come to a corner, get off the gas, car slows down. Take the corner, hit the gas, engine revs up high, no motion on the car. It's like as if the centax is not engaging there at all. Give it a couple of tries, then it engages. How can be the problem to this one?

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't think that's normal. I haven't seen this problem on any of my cars. Can you adjust the position of the motor a bit (with the screws on the bottom of the chassis) to prevent this?

Sometimes this is caused by the clutch, but more often it is the one way bearing in the gearbox slipping. You may want to check that for proper function too (and clean it and apply just a drop of serpent's one way oil)...

Julius pointed out in the same direction on 3hobby.net.
The question is:
Do you mean the bearing 1320 or 1342?
Here is the gearbox assembly.

I'm working on mounting Serpent 720 rear body support plate on to my 710. As soon as I finish it, I will post pictures..

720 rear body support on 710.. I used a broken carbon rear support from 710.. needs some aligning but I think it will work;

Are the parts on the Serpent on-road cars interchangeable?
