I know the front running a bit faster than the rear on the stock setup. I believe rubber tires need the same speed all around.
Does anyone tried the CRF Serpent clutch conversion for 710
,
the spring look a lot ticker then the stock one or is better to stick to the original clutch weights/shoe and the 1.8 spring ser#909518

wow its been years since i posted on here. anyway, take an xacto knife and pic the seals off carefully, then use some of the spray cleaner "nitro cleaner" i remember taking the grease out when I was bulding my car and putting bearing oil.. well after your are done, just press the purple seal back on. - done !

Hi Serpent Guru !
I am new in on-road. Just bought Serpent 710 kit and assembled it. Tried to mount LRP 0.12 and found this engine doesn't fit to car, see picture : Tank-bracket, rear, prevents to open carburetor. What is my mistake here ?
Thanks in advance for the help.
P.S. Sure I can start to saw Tank-bracket, but just wondering if I am only one who have this problem ?

You may still need to cut away a little material on the tank bracket depending on the engine though.
Thank you very much for the answer, I did exactly the same, can not only believe Serpent did so bad solution or LRP engine is very specific and other are fit to S710 perfectly.

Thats always been like that. You have rotate the carb on all the onroad cars. Also, you may have to bend the throttle rod too. Its been years since I've worked on a touring car, but I remember working the carb and linkage to clear.
