You have a good point there. I think you have to take that s-bend in front of the driver's stand wide and then enter the chicane from a wide angle (see the video how NiMo does it). My habit is never to do that which I think is a mistake.
I found my best entry into the chicane was from a shallow angle at the first apex, which meant I didn't really have to steer right at the first apex and at the mid part of the chicane, I only needed a little bit of steering input to the left before coming out and turning right.
If you see what I mean?

Now you come to mention it...... He looked exactly like this as he prized those wet tyres from the other racer!!!!!!!! I think he's kind of a cross between both Dastardly and Mutley!!!
