The FORCE made sure you went off there, though

LOL ...

You picked the right marshall to bribe!

I didn't realize that you spent all Saturday analysing which part of the track that I'm weak on!

True, but as we saw (ok my gearing wasn't so good) on the straight, your NSR5 is no slouch

Still, we need to master that chicane. He knows that part of the track much better than me and catches me up every time. I can't seem to get the right line that allows for smooth turns at the end and prep for the straight.

I need to take my own advise ... practise, practsie, practise.
That chicane is very tricky, I must say. It feels good when you get it right. Actually it looks like a mini version of the winternats chicane!

OK, for 710 freaks here ... the trick was not only the gearing but also the pipe. Which pipe? Well, ask Mark ... see if the old man remembers.

That chicane is very tricky, I must say. It feels good when you get it right. Actually it looks like a mini version of the winternats chicane!
You have a good point there. I think you have to take that s-bend in front of the driver's stand wide and then enter the chicane from a wide angle (see the video how NiMo does it). My habit is never to do that which I think is a mistake.

Is that the Melbourne hobby track? If so it is very nice and if im not mistaken the warehouse in the background is an indoor track, with a top hobby store!

Look at the JP website ! The newer fanged 3 port sleeved JP FX engines are touted to be having the same horses as a 5 port !
