Mark, run a drill bit down the hole to clean up some of the anodizing. It will stop the binding.

That is what I have done to mine and it is fine, be sure to do it slowly as it does not require much to free it up

I think they machined the hole to the correct size, but the anodisig process adds a small amount of particles to the surface, making the hole a little smaller.

I would insert the drill fully in the hole before spinning it slowly. Just to clean up the hole a fraction.

Let me try to confuse you again if without filling/polishing and screwing the holder to its arms, just slide tye holder over the arms shaft, does it bind? if not, r u sure you want to make a slopes on that holder holes? That was I did with my 3racing one, and later I realize the one with bushing (well, 3racing comes both with bushing) will gives different slopes at different eccentric angle placement...

Good you mentioned this Pyramid - forgot about that. When I place the alu arms on the pins, they move very freely indeed. The suspension arms only bind after I've put the fastening screw in But even if I loosen it off a little, then it still binds.

I'll take another look at it before starting any material removal

As far as I could remember, I believe they drill the holder holes after anodizing it, don't they?

Just check. The serpent ones are still anodised within the holes.

Also the 3mm drill passes through the hole no problem - it wouldn't take any material off, but may wear down the anodised coating.

Thats all I did... just enough to free it up, without taking aluminium off... just the anodising.
