List of MTX4R parts that fit on MTX5
Hi all,
Is there a list of MTX4R parts that are the same in the MTX5? I guess a few of us still has new MTX4R parts left... Thanks in advance. |

Thanks in advance. to the people having diff issues, use the longer xray diff screws as this might keep your diff tighter. I can't say i've had any issues with the car. all good so far. Clutch is dead simple to set up, gears are very strong. if you are busting gears increase the gap on your two speed shoe a little bit and make sure your clutch is set up right. An mtx5 driver was busting gears at an event i entered recently and the issues came from their clutch shoe setup:weird: i busted one gear and i was told to increase the two speed shoe gap, after this i had no issues. I was told that what may have occured is my 2 speed stayed engaged when it shifted down and caused the stripping. Happy with the car, but not my driving:p |

Belts, shock housings and rear shafts, general link balls etc, also either front or rear shafts from the old car, can't remember which, but that is it.
Clutch would be a whole heap easier to set if the "Thrust bearing stopper" came drilled dead center, mine is not, friends kits is also not, first replacement I got took one look at it still in the pack and it's also not, but some people have said theirs were fine, poor quality issue from a company like Mugen. Tom what happened to Phil in the final?, been next to no info coming out of the nats so far that I have seen. |

But again; the Capricorn team set the record straight of which is the best car to all you misguided Mugen supporters. Two wins in the two scales we were in, and four out of six podiums. Mugen had a 3rd in 1/8th scale and Shepherd a 2nd in 1/10th scale, in case you don't know. Kindest regards, Lars. |
Have anyone put a capricorn clutch in there 5 yet??? an if so which one?? I hate to say it since im a mugen man....but the cap clutch is the best on the market!!
