hi when we made our brace we used an 1/8 scale steering arm /turnbuckles at each end and when we got to the bit that your are having problems at diff housing I used a little bit of aluminium I found on old electric car to mount it square out from screw in housing only about 10 mill long to clear housing and bolted brace to it worked well when chassis bent you just adjust it straight again

can someone tell me where can I buy this rear brace, to avoid gear stripping, on this MTX-5 before i get rid of it, its a great car but tired of dealing w/ this problem

Chigon1, I bought mine at Knack Racing from Japan made of 2.5 carbon fibre. Email them and will give you a quote to dollar and invoice from Paypal. It will only takes a week.

i`m using this brace too..superb, no strips anymore.. yes, it will come with bracket,bushes and screws..

That brace looks nice. I ended up putting this on my car, I've yet to run the car.

Just picked one of these up. Are they still competitive in racing?? Any issues with the car I should know about. Also what parts should I stock up on. Thanks.

Can the mtx5 be upgraded to the 6???

hi bailey car broke the aluminium support for 2 speed shaft on belt side ripped top out so it all flopt about I just wanted to let you all know that it can brake ihave never seen one do it before the car has done a lot of racing but I though the part shoud knot need replacing
