Manufacturer has conducted multiple simulations, and from official website, message shown as below:
"Integrating various trial-proven features, our flex controller system strengthens chassis pliability. Rigid chassis frames can safely hold the engine in an accurate position and serve as a great prevention against the many common issues caused by frame movements. Now you can enjoy the thrills of racing without worrying about thread damages in gear box, contact fracture, pressing crack and more. "

Very interesting chassis, though I'm not convinced about what their site says about a stiffer chassis making more grip, but for other reasons I kind of like the design tweaks.

1650g with a 1450mah LiFe and modern servos, that is with no effort to be light, although I don't run the carbon wheel things, which add in some weight.

Last I checked, my car was bang on the current AARCMCC regulating using two larger Mugen weights on the chassis weight holes, if I used a light weight shell or put any lighter parts on mine, I'd have to add more weight somewhere.

Probably with steel rear and plastic front, which is what I'm running now, I think it was 1620 or so at one point, and I could get it to a run weight of 1600 flat without that much trouble.

Actually I think even right now I likely need just a little more weight, get the feeling I'd fail a check if I ran my tyres down low enough.

I also find myself fighting the car because the rear tends to be a little loose with a p37 shell , anybody using something different and does it keep the rear planted?

P37 is quite balanced, if anything I still often struggle with finding turn on my five, but not usually any issues with the back end, they are saying the new SRSN has more 'turn' and back end.

I think in our state champs just held this weekend, the SRSN was the most used body in the event.

My five is the complete opposite, excellent turn in and corner speed. 1 toe out works well. Or try a softer spring in front, or lay the stock shock down one position.

Default SPUR BREAKING

Any news on Mugen adressing the spur breaking issue officially? I read somewhere that for the European championship they would release an improved version off gearbox/clutch/spurs.

Ive tried every tip, building process, recomendation, et.etc. and can't have a running stream larger than 15 minutes before spurs go.....BTW i'm no novice in this hobby and in my 12 years in it, i've had all the major brands of cars, and never seen something like this..
