WRONG MTX-2 could be very very fast too! it's just depends on setting, engine and gearing! a few ppl on this forum have seen what kind of speed my MTX-2 can put out and I have a video clip to support it.

Bob...

Chuck told me to go with the Three Show clutch so if he says to go with it then I guess there is a good reason .

Default OB4TC3 -Way to go!!!

Ben,

Great job TQ'ing and a very convincing win in the Midwest Mentor, Ohio race with your Nitro TC3!!! Whooo hoooo!!!!

Remember to spread the good word about that body!!! You were A2 till you slapped that on and picked up 3 seconds!!!

My car was a POS in the main as you saw. by the 10 minute mark I was spinning out almost every lap and car was pulling to the left down the backstraight. Its a mess!!!

Again, congrats on a very big win!!! It aint easy to win a Midwest race!!!

Hey guys I made some rear toe links out of small 1/8 scale steering captured ends. Worked great no problems at all and it took acouple good hits from the rear too. I had to drill them out alittle to except 6/32 thread. BB

Thanks. Now if the adrenaline would stop. I should have put one of my other non racing bodies on for the TQ picture(the HPI!). It's a shame I'll have to wait to put some time into a real paint job for one of those bodies. Of course maybe I can play the reverse pychology race strategy to my advantage with the single color paint scheme.

Yeah, put a big-block .15 in it. I'm talking acceleration, same HP, gear, weight, etc. 3 belt cars have 7 friction points, TC3 has 3.

i got my ntc3 the other week and i am not happy at all
firstly the bloddy shitty tools striped on me then i went and got some good hex drivers and then the damn screws are stripping and they are half hanging out(i didnt even get the chance to over tigeten them) then i went to build my cvds and i get all the parts out and put it all together and then go to put the grub screws in and the first one i picked up the thread was all messed up then i reach for the 2nd one and the hex driver wont fit in the slot so i grab the third one and go to put it in and then the damn thing strips on me. When i was building the ball diffs one of the balls was all deformed also some of the 1/16" screws striped on me for the top deck as well as the countersunk ones in the chassis

i have rang my lhs and the ae rep is coming out

i am not a happy camper

i have orered some screws for the top deck because i dont like them pissy littel things what they give to ya so i am putting in the same ones as they give u tp hold in the shocl tower with and i am trying to get some counter sunk screws with a philips slot in them for the chassis.

i work at a hobbie shop and build lots of cars i have onwed previose cars from ae and have not had a problem. i hate striping things i havent striped a screw on an rc car in years but what the hell is going on

its even harder to get imperial stuff in oz

your comment is misleading. Ah10 is talkin about same engine class and same model scale.

If you are talking about friction points, yes TC3 is the champion. but no competition so far for the less frction points !!

we are looking at actual performance.

Default NTC3 bodies

Just for your info. guys, I've had really good luck with the Crowd Pleazer. I have also tried Protoforms standard Stratus & the Trinity Stratus (Andy's), both worked well. The only body I've tried with mixed reviews is Protoforms Volvo S60, the jurys still out on this one. Hope this helps.
