I have the Ti Turnbuckles on the whole car. Funny thing I did was try some Blue RPM Ball Cups ont he rear. They are the same as the Grey but for some reason when I try to adjust the Toe it just comes off the ball. With the grey cups I can adjust all I want. I guess the Blue Cups are tighter.

Solid links revisited
Hey guys,
The solid links I was talking about before have been working great. But, they will pop off in a crash. Its good because the car is not broken and can continue with a smart marshalling. But the reason we have not started selling them is there is a lot of interest in using a captured ball end set-up. I am trying to build a set for this weekends Midwest Race in Mentor, Ohio, but have been so slammed. I hope to have them ready for Saturday morning practice.
I'll keep everyone posted on the results.

We were going to try locknuts also, like the little Trinity or Associated ones, but besides finding the right thread you also have to find reverse threaded nuts. The only solution we came up with was using undersized plastic nuts, from Buds or RPM, that way the thread wouldn't matter. We thought something with an ID size similar to the front turnbuckle, so that it would be really tight. (Try putting a regular size RPM ball cup on the rear tie rod, you'll see what I mean.) The only problems we could see with this was that after you set your rear toe in with the stock set-up, theres not much (if any) exposed thread left on the turnbuckle (I'm using the FT's). We thought about cutting back the stock RPM ballcups to make room, but thats kind of defeating the purpose, isn't it? I guess I should try it out and see, I already have the nuts and a few sets of extra turnbuckles. My best solution so far has been to CA the ball cups on, and keep an extra made up set in my pit box. If you use thick "slow dry" CA, you have time to put them together and set your toe-in befors it dries.

The rear turnbuckles are 3.5mm.

I just went to Home Depot witht he Turnbuckle and 3.5 does the trick... to bad they didn't have any nuts in!!!!!

No sqeezit, I was too busy working and schooling! I run my car last week and it seem ok...still I don't like the bubble in my tank that much. Also...why do I have to put a piece of plastic in the tank??

Has anybody tried captured ballends on the rear of the NTC3 yet if so what did you use, and how? Thanks BB

Kyosho and HPI sells eyelets for ballends. Use a cone washer so that the end if popped off will not completely come off. Look at your shocks but with a big washer between the screw and the ball/plastic end.
I thought you guys were having problems with the plastic end stripping on the turnbuckle when you get a compression ht on the rear wheel?
The captured end will still do that, just the link won't fall off.
