Default Freeing Up The Drive Train

Freeing up your drive train. i'm doing that now. polish the insides of the trans cases where the bearings ride. i took the shims off the front and rear diffs the trans runs smooth now, and yes its with the input shafts there. clean all the bearings and for the out drive bearings remove the inner shields. same with the diff bearings. use real light oil to lube the bearings. oh yea and make sure your two speed is lubed and not dragging. i.e. adjusted right. but with the diffs i'm running a spool in the real and a oneway up front. Impact style. just take your time and everything will be sweet in time. Keeping it that way is a task too

how can u tell if an engine has an air leak? can i use my la crosse infrared thermometer? whats the silicone sealant u guys are using to seal it? where do I have to place the sealant? Im asking these coz I have hard time tuning my os12tr. My ntc3 has idle but after running it for 5 mins my car starts to move without me pulling the trigger on my remote. I did try to adjust the idle speed screw but my car keeps on moving. Pls help me out

no i`m ok with all this stuff.
It`s when you put the car on scales, you know front weight, rear weight, etc etc
Not viscosity weight.....POUNDS & GRAMS weight

sorry for the confusion

These weights vary with your set up from harder to softer suspension settings.

Just get both left and right equal. Simple is better.

Red face

I think he means how much should the car be weighing. I think it all varies. A Stock NTC3, I believe is 3.75 Pounds. Mine is currently 4 pounds. Another thing, I think the left side (engine side) should be heavier due to the fuel and the engine. I don't think electronics are as heavy as those two.

Default NTC3NUT

Is that red box by your reciever box a fail safe? If so what kind is it. My NTC3 RTR is supposed to get here tomorrow and this is my very first R/c car. so i am new to r/c. and i am looking for a failsafe to use with it. Can you give me any suggestions on what failsafe i should use? Also doesnt the NTC3 RTR come with a throttle return spring?

Any help would be great!!
Thanks,
David
