Some shops might not have the red stuff, but just ask. You could always go to an automotive or hardware store. Your hobby shop should have some or know where to get some.

I believe that the bottles are the same, but I lost my bottle a long time ago, so I could be wrong. The blue loc-tite is semi permanent and the red is permanent

I have some blue loctite in a red bottle - is the the right stuff.

If not i dont know which one is red cause i cant open the bottles in the shop!

permatex and loctite both ,make them....

It will say "threadlocker RED" on the bottle or tube...if the hardware store doesn't have it,go to a auto parts store...I'm using permatex item #27100....

btw,my towers stayed REAL tight...
and once you do it,Don't take it apart..if you need to get the diff out, undo the six gearbox screws...

Thanks Guys.

I had blue locktite in there and they were fairly loose after a 15 minute main. I will get some red stuff tonight, and if it stops raining i will see how it goes on sunday.

I used JB Weld on the screws in my shock tower when I built the car. I never did have any troubles with them.

Default CVD's

Anyone try the RTR cvd's? I know they're heavier than the stock alumin. pieces but they should be more resistent to bending easily. What's the weight difference between the MIP shiny cvd's and the RTR uni-drives(the rtr version is alot cheaper)?

Oh, does anyone know the part number for the HD front one-way outdrives? Are the old AE front one-way outdrives or Yokomo HD one-way outdrives compatible?

I'll answer the question if I may...............

There is only one on-road track on Oahu(The island where Honolulu is located). It is a temporary parking lot track that our club(RCAR) sets up every other Sunday. It is located right near the airport.

There is also a permanent offroad track on the same island.

If you're breaking tanks like that better stick with the stock AE ones because you can get 3-4 AE tanks for the price of one k-factory tank.

I agree with the others, I was just tossing my car around in the pit lane and slid sideways into the pipe and broke my KFactory tank. Its nice, but not THAT nice.

Save your money.
