PIPE
Well, had some good news and bad news this past weekend about the JB WELDED pipe. Good news is that the weld held rather nicely. Bad news is that the rather large dents rally hurt the engnes performance. I could only ease the car to full speed or else the engine would blurp. Since this is my first year racing, I never expiremented with pipes. Just knew how well my combo was running. Please correct me if I a wrong, its must be because the air flow is being hampered on the way out and not free flowing. I found myself in a visious circle. If passed, I hadn't the power to overtake most times that I am used to. So I would try to make up for it on the turns. But going in faster than normal, causes a whole bunch of other problems. Looks like the 2 chamber pipe for me next. Is the differance really noticable? I ask cause I may be able to get the stock pipe really cheap.
Thanks
Thanks

I'm still deciding on what car I should buy. But I think because my budget is not so high and I want the least amount of hassle possible, I'm getting very close to getting an NTC3 RTR. I say less hassle, because my local LHS supports the NTC3 primarially, parts are abundant, and I dont think I'll ever have a problem with support. So based on that, I'm assuming I'll be making a pretty sensible choice if I was to go with the NTC3. My only question is this: When I want to ugrade my NTC3 RTR to kit spec, how easy is the upgrade, what parts would I need, and how much would the upgrade be about? Thanks

I think the only major upgrades would be threaded shocks, MIP CVD's, and the 2-speed kit. Then you'd be very close to the Team kit (if not the same). I would guess $150-200 depending on where you shop.

You'll need this and servo washers.

Carburation is very responsive to the adjustments, with their price is a breeze using it. Power can go upwards with a little of porting, but at this moment I don't feel the need to.
Since the last time I used the JP I ported the manifold and cut a little more, maybe in the same conditions, JP now is slightly faster, but I'll stick with the Sirio and keep the JP for 'when the times are tough'.
I don't know, but almost all the engines like the 21/27 combination. AE sticks to being very conservative when advising for ratios. Only needed to use the 20/26 one time and few times I used 21/26 with the RB (very strange motor, needs 'some help' for scream on the backstraights, expecting the 215 model is better than the 210).
