Het NiMo, I was wondering if you had found the manual for the ZT-1 conversion? I was just doing a follow-up.......

Hey

Thanks. Thats a good deal, I got a couple of things from champ recently and the only thing that bothered me is the bank charges and that they only send EMS which is quite expensive if you need only some parts... otherwise you have to like bulk up your oder to get the value for the shipping you are paying !!

I wanted the Zac cooling head for my OS TR and it was for like 3000 yen and the shipping for 1100 yen ! lol so i had to rethink that order and order a few heads. together to save on the shippingg. !

cheers

uaerc,
It's true on shipping issue from Japan. The shipping cost is the killer.. And as you said they just do EMS. I paid for 1100yen for the shipping cost and only 386yen for PayPal handling charges..It just slightly cheaper from rcmodel via EMS. But from HK you can go by Standard Courier.

Bulk up your order .... yes that's the way to do it

I've just looked high and low but as of yet unable to find it.
(guess I put it in a safe place so I wouldn't loose it )
If I come across it I'll let you know (just hoping it wasn't in the box of my ex kyosho cup V-one S I sold a while back).

If it is without fuel, do you have a lot of aluminium-parts on it? Are you still using the ti-pivots?
Hi

These posts got me curious so i measured my Fw05RR and it came in at 1700 gms without fuel. All stock except for the rear toe plate.

is this good or bad ?

Cheers

@uaerc:

Nothing to be curious about. I think your weight is quite normal. Taking into consideration that your foams should weight less than my rubber-tires it will be ok. Maybe you are using a oneway which saves up another 19 grams (page 22 on this thread). At least nimo's car seems to be some kind of heavy.

Regards,
Robert

45 front, 46 rear.
Drill a 2mm hole right through for the grub screw, this is to stop the new bearing holder from spinning adjust so that it slots in to the groove but not so its squashing it.
You will need to go through the shiming stage again.

That's about another 130g with the amount of paint I use.

Doesn't it feel good to beat the other racers with a car that's a good 100g+ overweight
