Is there somebody interested in my allmost ready R40 with a lot off spares, tyres, jump box and bodyshells. The only thing you have to have to make it drive is a transmitter and a receiver.

The car is in great shape!

pm or email me for any questions, pictures and i will answered them as soon as possible

if that number means number of cells. How come I can't set the number which bigger than 5. As the manual said you can charge NiMH from 1-14 cells.

Thanks in advance!
If it wont go past 5 it's because you are in the wrong mode. 5 Cells is the max # of Li Po cells you can charge. You need to change it to NiCd/NiMh. Then you will be able to select 1- 14 cells.

On another topic, I keep going through outer clutch bearings (the flanged one inside the bell). Does anyone else have this problem? I assume this is because they take the sideways force from the clutch engagement, but is there anything I can do?
Make sure the shims are on the outside of the bearing so that the inner thrust bearing washer hits the outside (flanged) race of the clutch bearing.

I had wondered about this, but I'm pretty sure the instructions show the shims between the thrust and the bearing. Will swap em around, bring the clearance right down (it's pretty minimal at the moment) and see how it goes

Yep. Otherwise all the load is carried by the inner race which is NG.

yes if your driving the hara/2005 kit.

From your signature it seems that you do.

Sorry CraigM. I misunderstood your question. I thought you were talking about the interchange ability of gears on the R40 alone.

The mugen gears are not the same as the R40 and will not work on the R40. Maybe with a couple off modifications.
