yea i agree ebay rocks, so next thing i just abliterated my clutch spring with the JLR RED DOT engine, what clutch would you guys recomend and im also be getting the JLR RED DOT Murnan engine in the next few days and if the spring didnt hold up in the stock one it wont hold up in the modded one ... which clutch do you guys use?

The r40 clutch shouldnt blow up? Just run the weights without the spring. I did anyhow as the spring was funky.

so you dont need the spring ????? can i add thread lock to the shaft so the allen screw wont wiggle out ??? just if this was the case ... ill try w/o the spring thanks

no i didnt trim them , one looks to be a bit taller than teh others tho ....i also have some slack from the gears to the clutch assembly ? causeing?

do i have to trim the flywheel polls?? if so how far ? and is a High Torque servo requried for steering ??

awesome work AI, I've got an eagle racing 700mah pack for my r40, but for AU$30 i might just have to upgrade to the ebay one

Rear end of the car is almost done and it has been a pleasure to work on thus far. Can't believe how easy the diff and the 2 speed shaft dropped into the bulkhead compared to the S720
This car is going to be nice to work on, much like my belovered shaft drive cars...

bundy-bear, glad it went easy for you , it was almost a pain in the but for me ... lol maybe i have no common sense...lol the car is fun to work on and its easy to tune...

S9550 all around. Lighter weight and almost as fast and powerful as the 9451.
