The weather was definately the highlight of the weekend!! If you live Chgo. metro, you know what kind of spring we have. The forecast at early week had us almost washed out. I wish every MWS weekend weather would be the same. Low humidity, pleasant temps. The wind was blowing Sat.though...
Big props to the Chi-Town guys for track prep and running a great show.
As usual, Congrats to the TQs and Winners. Competition was tight and everybody seemed to be glad to be racing under great conditions.
Looking forward to seeing the action again soon! Nick A.

I was asked the same thing yesterday at Leisure. I have to give Ron a buzz soon, and ask a few Qs about Mentor.(never been). I'll put a bug in his ear about the results and write-up. Unless, Eli beats me to it!

The Mentor club (MORR) is looking forward to hosting the next MWS race on June 21-22. If anyone that has never came and raced with us have any questions about where we are, or anything else, please email me I will help you out.
Let’s all hope for better weather then we had the last 2 years.
Anyone seen the current points standings anywhere?

Sorry guys. I've been a little tied up with my daughters graduation and some serious procrastination. Am working on it now and will get it off to Brian later today.
For those of you that have not been to the Mentor track, It is a very nice parkinglot on a small college campus. Nice surrondings, well run races, and guaranteed NO rain! OK that last bit is open to question. But since it has rained at every Mentor race I have attended, I think we are due for a dry weekend!
Be there! Will unload some of our sponsor supplied goodies before the mains!

Report & pics are off to Brian and should be up soon.
I will try to come up with a system that will get the next reports filed sooner. Points were posted last night.

Please help us prepare for this weekends race in Mentor by pre-registering on the Midwest Series web site. The MORR club has gotten ready for this race by making sure all the equipment and track layout is operational by having a club race one week ago. The racers said the traction was good and really liked the layout.
For all racers in the Mentor area, be sure to come up to the collage this Friday night to help set up the track. Please be there at 6:30 pm. It shouldn’t take more then 1 hour to set everything up.
Hope to see everyone there this weekend.

Well the weather forecast is changing for the better every time they update it. Today for track set up should be pristine. So if you can, come on out and give us a hand setting up starting at 6:60 this afternoon.
Saturday is looking really great at 79 degrees and mostly sunny. Being the beginning of summer will give us maximum daylight for getting in plenty of racing.
Sunday’s forecast has improved to partly cloudy skies and only a 30% chance of rain.
This forecast prediction is from the weather channel. The MORR club had ordered nothing but sunshine for this weekend, but Mother Nature is a little more powerful then us. But it does looks like she is going to give us a good chance this year to run Mains on Sunday.
See you all tomorrow, or tonight.
