I would have been suprised if byrons had agreed to the midwest series race format. Still hopefull it will happen. I like the equal time for all who payed to race. Midwest series has a good points system and it relies on all mains being the same amount of time.

The Byrons/MWS combo is a strong possibillity for 2010. Byrons is commited to the 10 min qual and 1 hr A-main for this season. We must stick to our format for points purposes if nothing else.
Feel free to post your opinions on combining with other events! Your thoughts are welcomed.

Iam curious about what racers think of holding a race the weekend before a holiday or after a holiday? Would it affect your attendence at said race?

I'm down here at the Winter Nat's and there are quite a few racers asking about the MWS schedule since there is only about 90 day's to possibly the first race. I believe the MORR club hasn't even been contacted yet. Have the others? Is there a plan on where we are going to race this year?

My boss asked me for my vacation schedule....I told him he had to wait until the schedule was going to be posted for the MWS. He said .... Well when will that be. I said....I don't know...it could be April.

Sorry for the delay.. There are some discussions ongoing with key people, trying to improve the schedule. It is a tough year to nail down suitable dates. We will have it all done in the next few days. Hang in there! Hope you have all survived the winter and are looking forward to some fun in the sun...

Looking forward to seeing the dates. Loran and I plan to race the whole series this year. We made one race last year and really enjoyed it.
