Jedi the most important thing that Pattella forgot to mention.
ie a front oneway not the easiest thing to drive if you are a newby as you have to drive with a lot less brakes.
So as he said learn to drive the V1R and set it up.
then when your confident driving that car and can see what changes to setup does what to the car then upgrade.
Because just getting a newer car wont make you a better diver..

New fuel tank seals can be purchased for the voner tank. The part No. is 92050-01. There is no real difference in the handling of the car between the two tanks.

which means that the real culprit is the fuel tank seal? anyway, my k tank is on the way, will install it this weekend. but i am quite sceptical that this tank does improve the overall stability of the car...

These are the parts you need to build Front and Rear Diffs:

Item #

BS107 Bevel Shaft
VZ012 Diff Gear Set
VZ009 Diff Pulley Set
VZ015 Diff Joint
Diff Oil

You will need 2 of the VZ015 if you plan on building both front and rear diffs. I believe Tower has all of the items in stock.

who are you talking about??

I know that. It is simple to find it out looking from the exhaust port. There should have 2 small ports at each corners of the exhaust.

Use a #4 or 3mm split lock washer to keep the caphead screw from backing out on the 2 speed. I would use one on the Centax also if you have one.

No mess from threadlock and you can take the screw out when you want.

What hop up parts are recomended to lighten up the V1rr? Ive been looking into Kawahara parts but I am not exactly sure what would actually make the car lighter. Ive also seen that Kyosho makes some titanium parts. Which ones would be helpful? I was thinking turnbuckles and titanium screws, but I'm not sure if Kyosho makes a screw set specifically for the RR. Any advice would be great. Thanks
