Got my NT1 today . The Carbon Fiber Top plate has this strange cut in it .
The cut is at the top of the hole. that is over the steering servo.
Wish I could post photos . The manage Attachments ..says my photos are to large.

When I was building mine, I saw the same thing. After looking at the part for a little while, I decided it had to be there for a reason. Sure enough, it is there for the clearance of the front belt.

I think it's there to hold the battery and transponder wires... Pretty clever.
I should have mine tomorrow

I used it to run the wire to charge the battery with... So it does not get in the way of the steering or belt....

good Idea to do that. I did mine a little different, but I guess thier is no wrong way to use it. I took my personal transponder wire and ran it down through there to keep it away from the stearing horn and since I use spectrum, I use the rubber cap on the transponder case to hide the charging plug in. Very cool idea on the car that can be used in a few different ways.

Any road test? How is this car on the track?
