Ok, I thought I'd ask this question in this thread instead of starting a new one.

I have a 2008 spec NT1, and I just want to know, should I upgrade to the latest spec, or should I just keep it and buy upgrade parts for it?

I should add that despite it's age, it's still a competitive car.

well that depends i am running a 09 WE i had to change chassis plate so i up dated that the motor mount and the clutch that was almost half the price of a new kit but all my spares will still work (springs & shock parts)

Whats everyones thoughts on the low profile shocks that where released on the 2013 edition? Is it worth adding them to older cars? I know the new front sway bar seemed hit and miss with a few people.

This is from my friend's experiences who is driving nt1 original 2008 version all the way to 2013 version ...... he doesnt like it. 2013 version seems to become too aggressive in cornering.... he needs more concentration and effort driving it. The original version and the second version nt1 have the best driving feeling.

IMHO aggressive cornering is a good thing. I can always manage to dull a twitchy car, but never get it to the point of too much. Thats driving a 2012 nt1. My car never let me down and always does what I need, when I need it, but cannot keep up with the corner speed of the 2013.

Thanks for the replies guys. I must admit when I first built my 2013 I ran it with the new sway bar and my old 2012 shocks and towers and it didn't feel as good as my 2012. Changed the sway bar to the blade and it was a little better but still preferred my 2012. Since then have been playing with my Hotbodies R10.

BundyBear i noticed with my 2013 spec it would snap oversteer mid corner. I corrected this with the xray top deck stiffener. I also use the blade sway bar only because its easier to adjust and tweak the car
