Parts needed for NT1 2013

Hey all,

Just got myself a new NT1 and was wondering what do you guys recommend getting for spare parts?

Thanks for your time :)

Front arms lower and one upper, frt knuckles, and maybe one rear arm and rear hub, oh and a set of hinge pins. I haven't broke much on the car in the last few years, I end up replacing parts due to slop, I still have a lot of parts. :sneaky:

But if you're new and going to be testing the boards at your track you may need more. :D. But it is a very durable car...

Scott B was right on but would add a few more, always have a spare front, side, and rear belt and keep around some extra spur gears. Also, look into some different spring combos. If you have the new 2013, grab some 4.0/4.5/5.0 springs. If you have older chassis pick up some red and pepto pink fronts and pepto pink and blue rears. Outside of that, other parts don't need to be replaced as often

Hey just a quick note.

The 2013 Great Lake challenge in Toledo, Ohio, hosted by the One Eighth Racers of Toledo is coming up Aug 23-25. I am trying to make sedan the biggest class out there this year. I myself just switched back to a Sedan this season. If you are interested in racing registration is open now. You can register online at http://toledooneeighthracers.com/event_registration or grab the entry form from the website and mail it.

It is always a good time that draws ~115 racers each year. Give it a thought.

'13 Shell Mount

Are the body post positions the same on the '13 from the '12? Reason i ask is i have a body i cut and mounted for a '12 (brand new) and sold the '12 but have the '13 coming soon and didn't know if the body will mount correctly?

Nt1 wce trade in 2013?

1 Attachment(s)
I finally signed up to chat about an r4 i just built and my nt1world champion. I am thinking of trading it in for a 2013 but it is hard to let go, xray hit a home run with the wce and i have just totally refurbished it to near new build condition with new chassis, belts, pulleys etc. What do the og pilots reckon? To trade or not to trade? To be perfectly honest i only race 10.5 electric on carpet and outdoor off road ( no onroad gas tracks) i just love the engineering and whole thrill of ragging a 2 speed box, even if i can only do it up the local smooth tarmac carpark!
I am only able to upload one pic at a time, is that correct?, could a mod confirm?.

I just heard from a friend of a uk distributor that the next car is called nt2. Can anyone confirm this?, i am unsure wether to get 2013 or hold on?
