Oh and its not cheating, the guy who beat you lastweek will beat you nextweek sauce or not, driving ability will take you furthest!! |

Might have to try dual shore tires bect season. Our temps fluctuate a lot. Last time out i ran 35f/40r and the car rotated quite freely and was easy to deive. Was about 28-30c.
This last sunday i struggled all day to get the same rotation in corners from 38-40-42 rears as they would all push a lot. Didnt touch anything on setup just refilled shocks, same fluid just took out some rebound. Was maybe 18-22c when te sun came out. Frustrating. Finished second behind someone with as much rc experience as i have been alive so no complaints, just couldnt match laptimes the week before on the same track layout. |
I switched back to the aluminum shocks and during the build process, I couldn't get any rebound. :weird:
I'm using the vented shock caps, low profile bladders, and the aluminum shocks with the 2 o-ring setup. They are smooth, all go into the shock body fully, but no rebound. Any suggestions? |

Add more oil??? If the shocks are bled and no air bubbles are present, I'd be happy. Never quite understood the whole theory having different amounts of rebound. Seems to me it would translate into a variable in consistancy...

I think it's the low profile bladders. I tried them once and no rebound.
Without the foam inserts you will get more grip though. i`m not sure what the low profile bladders do though, never tried them. |
