Yes, that's the only mod.

JLR starter box, great but in expensive REDS MT3 W/ PIPE ---- PICCO .12 TORQUE W/PIPE --- Nova Rossi Flash PT W/PIPE all good for good prices
what kind of Radio you have? stay with the servos w/ your radio. makes it easy.

Hope this helps.

Go two savox servos on mine, oldschool os12tr w/novarossi pipe i got for free. Car just as fast at our track as the newer rb/nova powered beasts. Doesnt have to cost a ton.

rebound alu ammo

sorry but how you manage to get a rebound with the ammo of the NT1 aluminum

I followed the instructions to unscrew the bottom cap and push the pull rod 20 times to get a 25%

but the piston always shoots me out of everything with strong pressure

-I have tried various ways in other types of oil to fill the body

- Put the membrane and allow to rest 5 minutes, put the sponge on top

-push the piston up to the minimum rebound and close the cap onto the rod, but even so shoot me an overall 90%

-then I tried to unscrew the cap over and push, loosen and push it several times until a minimum rebound
but doing so is filled with air bubbles

manual also explains that you can use the ammo in 2 modes with 2 o-ring and 2 thicknesses close

or 1 o-ring with small thickness and a thick big, what changes?

I'm trying the rebound in oil 600, and standard 2-hole plates for front and rear

1st gear only

I'll be visiting a couple of small tracks (don't know the size) that they don't typically run 1/10 nitro cars. I just want to run 1st gear but I'm not sure which way to set it up. To my knowledge I could just remove the 2nd gear spur or tighten the set screw so 2nd gear doesn't kick in....right? What's the best suggestion you guys have for running 1st gear only. Thanks in advance.

Don't bother removing the 2nd spur gear. Just tighten down the 2-speed so the car doesn't shift. If the track is small, you won't build up enough speed anyways.

looks like my OS12TR might be biting the dust finally. i stripped the pinch bolt and cant find a replacement, or get the thermal insulator out without mangling it to replace the bolt anyway. might try to jbweld my carb in but probably not a great solution..

I just race in parking lots. maybe 80-100ft straight with technical infield. my 12tr was enough to keep up on a track this size but what could i get that isnt super expensive as a replacement? i see a maxpower for sale here used. how would the rb jr engine perform?

What do people run on the front diff?
Spool, oneway or gear diff.

I would guess mostly gear diff but oil weight depends on the driver, track, etc.
